Terms of service

-
General Terms — quotations, acceptance of orders, VAT, payment, site access, customer responsibilities and limitation wording.
-
Repairs, Servicing & Call-Outs — engineer attendance, diagnostic charges, no guarantee a fault can be resolved on the first visit, additional parts/labour, return visits, inaccessible systems, existing defects and emergency attendance.
-
Fabrication & Supply Only — customer-approved sizes/specifications, bespoke manufacture, drawings, colour/finish, tolerances, lead times, changes after manufacture begins, delivery and storage. Bespoke or clearly personalised goods can be excluded from the normal distance-contract cancellation right, although that does not remove rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail applicable statutory standards.
-
Supply & Installation — surveys, structural openings, making good by others, access/scaffolding, delays outside CAS's control, variations, practical completion and snagging.
-
Cancellation & Deposits — separate rules depending on whether the booking is a service or fabrication has commenced. For consumers, cancellation charges or retained advance payments need to reflect applicable legal rights and should not simply be an arbitrary blanket forfeiture; government guidance notes businesses are generally limited to losses directly resulting from cancellation and should take reasonable steps to reduce those losses.
-
Warranty & Remedial Works — notification of defects, CAS being given a reasonable opportunity to inspect, remedial attendance and exclusions for misuse, third-party interference and general wear.
-
Commercial Clients — purchase orders, payment terms, retention only where expressly agreed by CAS in writing, CIS/DRC where applicable, variations and precedence of CAS terms.
